Scholarship Summary:
The OCU Academic Merit scholarship is awarded to incoming domestic freshmen enrolling for an undergraduate degree in fall, based on grade point average. Oklahoma City University recalculates every high school grade point average on a standard 4.0 scale.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
ii. Register for full-time enrollment of 12 or more hours per semester
Value of Scholarship:
The OCU Academic Merit scholarship is valued as follows;
i. Presidential Academic Award: $13,000/yr (Required: 3.8+ GPA)
ii. University Academic Award: $10,500/yr (Required: 3.4-3.79 GPA)
iii. Achievement Academic Award: $8,000/yr (Required: 3.0-3.39 GPA)

i. Incoming first-year students must submit their application and all required documents by March 1.
Required Documents include the following;
a. Application and application essay,
b. Official high school transcript,
c. High school counselor's recommendation form, and
d. $55 application fee.
