Scholarship Summary: 
The Hudson & Holland Scholars Program (HHSP) at IU Bloomington is a scholarship and support program for high achieving students (US citizens and residents only) from communities historically excluded due to race and ethnicity. This community of talented scholars is among the best and brightest students at Indiana University, whose presence and contributions embody the program’s core values of leadership, engagement, academics, and diversity.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for the Hudson & Holland Scholars Program:
Be a high school senior or current undergraduate student;
Be admitted to Indiana University Bloomington;
Complete the Selective Scholarship Application (SSA) that is specifically for Hudson & Holland Scholars (name will be listed on the SSA if it’s from H&H), OR complete the Hudson & Holland Scholars Program application;
Possess a high school grade point average or college GPA of 3.2 minimum on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent;
**Present a combined SAT Math and Evidence-based Reading and Writing score of 1180 or higher, or an ACT score of 24 or higher; Optional, NOT Required**
Possess a record of leadership, active participation in extracurricular and service-related activities.
Be a United States citizen or permanent resident with a valid Social Security Number.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. Apply for admission to Indiana University Bloomington through the Office of Admissions.
ii. If you apply to IU before the November 1 priority deadline and are admitted, you may be invited to complete the Selective Scholarship Application (SSA). The SSA allows eligible students to be considered for departmental/school scholarships. 
iii. If you are selected, you will receive an email invitation with instructions on how to complete the SSA and the deadline. If HHSP is on the application, then you are being considered by the program. Some students may have multiple departmental/schools listed on their SSA. If HHSP is NOT on the SSA, proceed to the steps below.

Hudson & Holland Scholars Program Application
Students who apply for IU admission after the November 1 priority deadline or who do not receive an SSA from HHSP, may apply via One.IU.
Step 1: Log into One.IU using your computing account. Enter the keyword “scholarships” in the search bar.
Step 2: Click on the “Scholarships” icon, a dollar sign ($) with a graduation cap.
Step 3: Click “Sign In With Your Network ID.” You may be prompted to sign in using your IU credentials.
Step 4: Complete all questions on the “General Application,” then click “Finish and Submit.” You must complete this step before completing the HHSP application.
Step 5: If you qualify, the IUB-Hudson & Holland Scholars Application will appear in your list of Recommended Opportunities. Please complete the application.
