Scholarship Summary:
The Macquarie Leaders and Achievers Scholarship recognizes academic strength and leadership potential and provides outstanding Australian applicants with financial support while they study at Macquarie University.
10 scholarships are available for outstanding applicants within the Macquarie University catchment area and 10 scholarships are available for outstanding applicants outside the Macquarie University catchment area but must be within New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be an Australian citizen, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa
ii. Have received an early offer through the Macquarie Leaders and Achievers entry scheme for the relevant session
iii. Have demonstrated extensive engagement or significant achievement of service to local or wider community, resulting in the positive change or enhancement for the benefit of others
Value of Scholarship:
This scholarship is valued at AUD$10,000 per year for up to 5 years subject to ongoing eligibility criteria.
