Scholarship Summary: 
University of Missouri–Kansas City is rewarding top-performing Missouri non-residents with automatic scholarships based on ACT or SAT score and High School Core GPA on Admission Application. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, these are the following eligibility criteria;
A. Chancellor’s Non-Resident Award
i. Newly enrolled non-resident undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking students
ii. Not available for conservatory, dentistry, education, law, medicine, nursing and health studies, or pharmacy students
iii. Full time enrollment
iv. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

B. Chancellor’s Historically Underrepresented Minority Non-Resident Award
i. Newly enrolled non-Missouri resident students who identify themselves on the UMKC admission application as African American, Hispanic or Native American
ii. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
iii. Full-time Enrollment

C. Roo Nation Award
i. Newly enrolled nonresident undergraduate students with High school core GPA of 3.0
ii. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
iii. Full-time Enrollment

Value of Scholarship: 
The UMKC Chancellor’s Non-resident Award, Chancellor’s Historically Underrepresented Minority Non-resident Award and the Roo Nation Award all cover the Non-resident tuition differential.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;

A. Chancellor’s Non-Resident Award 
Upon admission into UKMC by January 15, each academic department will select eligible candidates for this award.

B. Chancellor’s Historically Underrepresented Minority Non-resident Award
Upon admission into UKMC, it will be automatically awarded based on Admission Application for students that indicate African American, Hispanic, or Native American.

C. Roo Nation Award
Upon admission into UKMC, it will be automatically awarded to students that apply by April 1st and meet the eligibility requirement of having a High school core GPA of 3.0 or above OR Transfer GPA of 3.0 or above
