Scholarship Summary: 
Bethel University is awarding the Physics & Engineering Scholarship to deserving incoming domestic students planning to pursue a primary major in the Department of Physics and Engineering at Bethel starting in the fall of 2022.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
At the time that Bethel reviews the student's admission portfolio, scholarship applicants must;
be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and
be high school seniors during the 2021-2022 school year, and
have an unweighted high school grade point average of at least 3.50 (4.0 scale), and
Although there is no ACT or SAT score requirement, the strength of the application will be greatly enhanced by a good ACT or SAT score
Apply for a primary major in the Department of Physics and Engineering at Bethel

Value of Scholarship:  
The Physics & Engineering Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Two awards valued at the full tuition cost annually {Recipients of the full-tuition Bethel Physics & Engineering Program Scholarship are not eligible for other Bethel-controlled grants or scholarships}.
ii. Two awards valued at $10,000 annually {Recipients of the $10,000 annual Bethel Physics & Engineering Program Scholarship will be considered for Bethel's Royal Merit Scholarship and need-based grants}. 

The scholarships are renewable for three years (four years total), provided recipients continue to have a primary major in the Department of Physics and Engineering, make satisfactory progress towards their degree, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
1. Submit the Bethel Physics & Engineering Program Scholarship Application by the January 14th, 2022 deadline.
2. Selected applicants must attend one of the in-person Bethel Physics & Engineering Program Scholarship Visit Events on February 4th, 2022 (5:15-8:45pm) or February 8th, 2022 (1:45-4:45pm)
3. Applicants must actively participate in a group in person interview with Physics & Engineering department faculty. 
4. Announcement of two full tuition and two $10,000/year scholarships will be made on the March 7th, 2022.
5. April 1st, 2022 is the deadline for acceptance of all scholarships
