Scholarship Summary:
Shawnee State University is awarding merit scholarships to incoming freshmen students (domestic and international) who have performed excellently in their academic work.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.2
ii. Obtain a minimum ACT score of 21 or higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1060+
Value of Scholarship:
The Shawnee State University Freshmen Merit Awards are valued as follows;
i. Shawnee Achievement Award: $3,500 - $5,500 per year (3.8+ GPA and 27+ ACT/1260+ SAT)
ii. Shawnee Excellence Award: $3,000 - $4,500 per year (3.6-3.79 GPA and 25-26 ACT/1200-1250 SAT)
iii. Shawnee Success Award: $2,500 - $4,000 per year (3.4-3.59 GPA and 23-24 ACT/1130-1190 SAT)
iv. Blue & Gray Award: $2,000 - $3,500 per year (3.2-3.39 GPA and 21-22 ACT/1060-1120 SAT)
