Scholarship Summary:
The University at Buffalo offers scholarships in varying amounts to qualified incoming international freshmen students who will be entering in the Fall semester. Scholarship awards vary and are renewable with good academic standing. The International Flagship Scholarship may be combined with other UB scholarships.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be international students enrolling in the fall semester
ii. Be incoming freshman (first-year) students who have no course work or credits completed at a post-secondary institution.
iii. Have excellent academic records
Value of Scholarship:
The UB International Flagship Scholarship varies in amount.

To apply;
a) All qualified applicants will be considered for the scholarship as part of the regular application review process; scholarship decisions are made after the initial admission decision.
b) Scholarships are awarded using a holistic review process. While GPA and test scores are important criteria, they are not the only criteria we consider.
c) Scholarship award announcements are made via email.
