Scholarship Summary:
The University of Portsmouth is offering bursaries to full-time UK undergraduate students whose household incomes are not more than £25,000 a year.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for the University of Portsmouth Bursary, you must
i. Be a full-time undergraduate student from England
ii. Be charged full fees of £9,250
iii. Have a household income that is £25,000 a year or less.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Portsmouth UK Undergraduate bursary is valued as £750 a year and will be paid directly into the recipient’s bank account in 3 instalments in December, February and May.
Scholarship Application Guide:
You don’t need to apply for this bursary; University of Portsmouth will check if you’re eligible for it once you’ve applied to Student Finance England for income-based support and it has verified your household income.
On your Student Finance England application, you just need to make sure:
a. you’ve said you'll be studying at the University of Portsmouth
b. you (and your parents or partner) have given your consent to share your information with the University.
