2026 University of Portsmouth EU Scholarship (England Based)

Scholarship Summary: 
If you're an EU student starting a course in the academic year 2026/27, you’ll continue to be eligible for the same fees as UK students and for financial assistance under existing support arrangements. The scholarship will apply to new undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students.
 
Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for the EU Scholarship;
i. For Undergraduates: You must be an EU, EEA or Swiss national and have been resident in the EU, EEA and Switzerland for a minimum of 3 years.
  • For Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research entering in 2026 onwards: You must be a National and domiciled in of one of the following countries: Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden; or be a National of one of these countries and domiciled in the UK for the last 3 years.
ii. You must be a full-time student studying an undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research degree on campus with international annual fees for 2026/27. 

Value of Scholarship: 
The EU Scholarship will be awarded as follows:
i. For Undergraduates: Tuition fees will be reduced to £10,300/year
ii. For Postgraduates: Up to £7,000 discount

Scholarship Application Guide: 
You don’t need to apply for this scholarship, as this scholarship will be applied automatically to your tuition fees.

The discounted fee will be stated on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS). This is the final document you receive when you have an unconditional offer to study at the University of Portsmouth and have paid your deposit.
