Scholarship Summary:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship recognizes two international undergraduate students who have a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding and have demonstrated leadership abilities through prior high school and community experiences.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must;
• Be a first-year international applicant. An international applicant is an individual who holds citizenship in a country outside the United States and who does not also possess US citizenship or permanent residency.
• Demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities.
Value of Scholarship:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship will range from $3,000 to $10,000 annually and can be combined with the WNEU merit scholarships
This scholarship is renewable annually providing you maintain satisfactory academic progress. The scholarship is open to students of all academic majors and fields of study.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
1. Apply for admission by using the Admissions online portal.
2. Submit the one-page #YouAreWelcomeHere application and the personal statement by April 1, 2023. The application for the scholarship can be found on your Applicant Status Page after you are accepted.
3. If awarded a scholarship, claim it by submitting a tuition deposit by May 1, 2023.
