2024 Idaho State University Merit Scholarships (US Based)

Scholarship Deadline: 
Applications for this scholarship will end as follows;
i. Domestic students: 1st of July, 2024
ii. International students: 1st of June, 2024

Scholarship Summary: 
New Incoming (first-time) freshman (domestic and international) will be considered for the many scholarships that ISU has to offer as long as all required documents are received (or postmarked) before the deadline.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants;
Must be full-time (at least 12 undergraduate credits each semester)
Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate student
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 to be reviewed/considered for an initial award (for Idaho residents)
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 to be reviewed/considered for an initial award (for out-of-state and international students)

Value of Scholarship: 
The Idaho State University Merit Awards are valued as follows;
i. Idaho residents receive the Idaho resident awards which are valued from $1,000 - $7,500
ii. Out of State residents and International students receive the Nonresident Tuition Waiver which waives the total amount of non-resident tuition.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
An application for admission to ISU serves as your "scholarship application and you must be admitted by the above deadline. The following admissions documents must be received by the above deadline (Fall start) to be considered for automatic scholarships:
1. Completed Application for Admission, including a paid application fee
2. Official high school transcripts (6 to 7 semester transcript will be sufficient for scholarship consideration)
  • Students will need to have a final transcript sent to the Admissions Office upon High School graduation for completion of the admissions process
3. ACT or SAT scores required for students who are homeschooled and for students from non-accredited high schools. Students must have their test scores submitted to ISU by 7/1 (fall entry) or 11/1 (spring entry).
4.  International students MUST have a completed application for admission, official TOEFL or IELTS score, and official transcript(s) submitted to the International Program Office (IPO) by the above deadline.
