Scholarship Summary:
The University of Winnipeg President's Scholarship for World Leaders is awarded to international students entering any of the University's divisions for the first time:
Undergraduate, Graduate, Collegiate, PACE or ELP.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must;
• be international fee-paying students
• be applying for a program in the University of Winnipeg
Value of Scholarship:
The UWinnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders is valued as follows;
i. Undergraduate: CAD$5,000 (6 awards available)
ii. Graduate: CAD$5,000 (3 awards available)
iii. Collegiate: CAD$3,500 (3 awards available)
iv. PACE: CAD$3,500 (3 awards available)
v. ELP: CAD$3,500 (3 awards available)
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
1. Complete an application for admission into The University of Winnipeg by the scholarship deadline date.
2. Complete the online application form in full; incomplete applications will not be considered. Each applicant may only submit one application.
3. Attach the following additional required documents with this application. Please make sure they are translated in English if in another language.
• A personal statement
• A resume outlining activities that demonstrate leadership
• Two reference letters in English
• NOTE: Your reference letters should outline your character, achievements, and ways in which you are a leader in your school or community.
