Scholarship Summary:
The UWinnipeg Special Entrance Scholarships are automatically offered to Grade 12 graduating students coming directly from a high school in Canada, and to international students from the United States, or those studying Canadian curriculum abroad. These scholarships are offered without the necessity of a scholarship application.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration,
• Students must have at least an 85% final Grade 12 award average, and
• Submitted a complete application for admission including payment by March 1, and
• Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the Fall/Winter, and
• Have not received a UW Entrance award valued at more than CAD$5,000.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Winnipeg Special Entrance Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. For an Admission average of 85 – 89.9%: CAD$1,100
ii. For an Admission average of 90 – 94.9%: CAD$1,750
iii. For an Admission average of 95+%: CAD$2,250
