Scholarship Summary:
The Queen’s admission bursary will be awarded to Canadian undergraduate students based on an assessment of their financial need. By submitting an Admission Bursary Application, eligible students are automatically considered for all named admission awards and bursaries.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for most admission bursaries you must be:
• a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
• demonstrate financial need based on, but not restricted to, the following factors:
- student and family income
- number of dependents in the family
- applicant's assets (including savings, anticipated resources through government student financial assistance)
- full cost of the program of study, books, supplies, and basic living expenses
• entering post-secondary studies for the first time
• entering the first year of full-time studies in an undergraduate degree program in September or participating in the Queen's First-Year Program at the Bader International Study Centre (Herstmonceux Castle)

The Queen’s Admission Bursary vary in amount.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Apply for admission into Queen’s by February 1st.
ii. Upon admission, the Admission Bursary Application will become available on your SOLUS Student Centre,
- Select the Financial Aid tile
- Select the Online Award Applications navigation
- Select the Queen's Financial Aid and Awards Profile
iii. An application for Undergraduate Admission Bursary is assessed once a student submits a Financial Aid and Awards Profile in SOLUS.
- You will be considered for all need-based undergraduate admission bursaries when you apply for the Undergraduate Admission Bursary
iv. Most students selected to receive an admission bursary will be notified with their offer of admission.
