Scholarship Summary:
The UMassD Founders’ Scholarship is a full ride scholarship for high-achieving Massachusetts residents. Several scholarships will be awarded, with only one recipient per high school.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
• be a Massachusetts resident
• have a cumulative GPA of 4.0
• score a 1200 SAT or 25 ACT, or apply test-optional
• be in the top 10 of your graduating class
• live on campus
Value of Scholarship:
The UMassD Founders’ Scholarship is a full ride scholarship, covering full tuition, fees, housing, and a meal plan for four years.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Your first step to receiving the Founders’ Scholarship is to;
i. Apply to UMassD via the Common App.
ii. Then, you’ll complete the Founders’ Scholarship application, which includes providing:
• your high school transcript
• a short essay statement on why you’re a good candidate
• a list of your extracurricular activities and accomplishments
iii. File the the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
