Scholarship Summary: 
The Intercultural Leadership Award is for incoming first-generation students of color (US citizens and residents only) who have demonstrated a distinguished academic record, leadership potential and commitment to giving back to their community. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
In order to qualify to apply, a student must meet the following criteria:
Be of African-American, Hispanic/Latino-, Asian- or Native-American heritage
First-generation college applicant
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card
Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale)
Score at least 970 on the SAT OR at least 18 on the ACT (though we are ACT/SAT test-optional this year)
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by your state’s deadline

Value of Scholarship: 
The ILA scholarship is valued as $25,000 a year and is renewable for a total of eight consecutive semesters based on academic performance and program participation.
Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. You will need to submit a completed application to Goshen College (including an official transcript and test scores, though we are ACT/SAT test-optional this year). by the priority application deadline, Dec. 1
ii. Complete the Achievement Scholarship Application by Jan 1 (you need to be admitted before scholarship application will be reviewed)
iii. Selected applicants will be invited to participate in Scholarship Day (Jan. 27, 2024).
