Scholarship Summary:
Dominican University awards merit scholarships to incoming freshmen (domestic and international) for academic achievement and they are renewable for a maximum of three years, provided satisfactory academic progress is made. These scholarships are awarded regardless of financial need and are determined at the time of acceptance.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria but past recipients were in the top 40% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Dominican University Freshman merit-based scholarships are valued as follows;
1) Presidential Scholarship: $22,000
2) Dean’s Scholarship: $19,000
3) Founder’s Scholarship: $17,000
4) Achievement Scholarship: $15,000
5) Recognition Award: $12,000

Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application, simply apply for admission to be considered for a scholarship. For students accepted to Dominican University after June 1, awards are subject to the availability of funds.
