i. Obtain a minimum cumulative HS GPA of 2.5+
Value of Scholarship:
The Rockford Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;

The Rockford Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Charles & Dianna Colman Scholarship: Award amounts are up to full tuition.{Required: GPA above 3.75, Domestic students only}
ii. Trustee Scholarship: Award amounts are up to 75% of tuition. {Required: GPA above 3.5, Domestic students only}
iii. Deans Scholarship: up to $19,000 annually {Required: GPA of 3.8 or higher}
iv. Academic Excellence Scholarship: up to $17,000 annually {Required: GPA between 3.40 and 3.799}
iv. Founders Award: up to $16,000 annually {Required: GPA between 3.0 and 3.399}
v. Recognition Award: up to $15,000 annually {Required: GPA between 2.65 and 2.999}
vi. Regent Award: up to $12,000 annually {Required: GPA below 2.65}
vii. Pfeffer Scholarship: supports an incoming female first-year student majoring in science or math who intends to pursue a course of study that would lead her to a career in medicine or medical research {Domestic students only}.

ii. For the Charles & Dianna Colman Scholarship and Trustee Scholarship, eligible students will be contacted regarding additional steps needed to apply. These scholarships are limited in number and awarded to students admitted by December 21.
