Scholarship Summary:
Mount Mercy University is awarding academic scholarships to every eligible domestic incoming freshmen based on academic achievement.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Scholarships will be awarded based on cumulative GPA or test scores.
Value of Scholarship:
The Mount Mercy Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholarship: $24,000 {Minimum GPA of 3.75}
ii. Distinguished Scholarship: $22,000 {Minimum GPA of 3.4}
iii. Dean’s Scholarship: $21,000 {Minimum GPA of 3.0}
iv. Collegiate Scholarship: $20,000 {GPA less than 3.0}
All above awards are renewable for up to four years and all applicants must be enrolled full-time to receive an award.
Other awards available include:
a. Out-Of-State Grant: Up to $3,500 (Available to Iowa non-residents, need-based, must file a FAFSA to determine eligibility}
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate application for these awards; scholarships are awarded automatically to eligible students upon admission.
