Scholarship Deadline: 
Applications for this scholarship will end as follows;
i. Domestic students: 15th of December, 2023 
ii. International Students: 1 May, 2024

Scholarship Summary: 
The UTK Volunteer Scholarship program recognizes freshmen students (domestic and international) with an exemplary academic record based on a combination of GPA and test scores. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for the Volunteer Scholarship, you must;
•  Matriculate the fall semester immediately following your high school graduation
Obtain a minimum 3.8 high school GPA (UT Converted & Weighted Core GPA)
•  Have a minimum 28 ACT or 1300 SAT
New test scores to determine eligibility for the Volunteer Scholarship must be received by July 1.

In order to keep the Volunteer Scholarship, you’re required to:
Maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Maintain full-time enrollment throughout each semester

Value of Scholarship: 
The UTK Volunteer Scholarships are valued as follows;
For Tennessee residents
i. $3,000 (28–29 ACT/ 1300–1350 SAT)
ii. $5,000 (30–33 ACT/ 1360–1480 SAT)
iii. $9,000 (34–36 ACT/ 1490–1600 SAT)

For non-Tennessee residents and international students
i. $8,000 (28–29 ACT/ 1300–1350 SAT)
ii. $13,000 (30–33 ACT/ 1360–1480 SAT)
iii. $18,000 (34–36 ACT/ 1490–1600 SAT)
