Scholarship Summary:
University of Plymouth is delighted to offer the International Academic Excellence Scholarship to exceptional international students who will be undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate’s degree starting September 2024.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
i. have an outstanding academic record
ii. meet the standard English Language requirements
iii. have an unconditional/conditional offer letter from the University of Plymouth
Value of Scholarship:
The International Academic Excellence Scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees for the first year.
For undergraduate students (and postgraduate students taking a two year program): To recognise continual academic achievement, you may also receive 50% off the successive years tuition fee, if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained.

Step 1: Download the International Academic Excellence Scholarship application form.
Step 2: Complete application form and prepare the following documents:
- a copy of your offer letter
- a copy of your final academic transcripts
- one or two reference letters from a suitable source to support your application (this must be a separate reference letter that you submitted with your main application of study).
Step 3: Submit your application and supporting documents by emailing as attachments to: international@plymouth.ac.uk
