Scholarship Summary: 
Royal Holloway is offering one Dinah and Jessica Nichols Scholarship to a new full-time student with Home or International fee status for one of the listed courses below.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible;
i. Applicant must have achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent.
ii. Applicant must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a course within one of the following departments:
Value of Scholarship: 
The Dinah and Jessica Nichols Scholarship for 2023 is offered as a cash award of £6,250.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply for this scholarship, 
i. You must apply via Royal Holloway Direct where you will be able to complete your statement and upload any required documents including your grades transcript.
a. You must provide a supporting statement of no longer than 500 words which should include:
  • academic achievements you are particularly proud of
  • why have you chosen to do the degree you have applied for
  • how will you use the MA in your future research and career path and how will the scholarship help you achieve it.
Your statement will be judged on how effectively and convincingly you respond to the above prompts. A
pplications which exceed the word count will automatically be rejected.

ii. As well as your statement, you will need to upload your most recent grades transcript from your undergraduate degree. Any applications that are submitted without an uploaded transcript will be rejected.

iii. You must also provide a written academic reference (up to 200 words) from an academic who has previously supported, taught or worked with you. This must be emailed on official headed paper to RHPS@rhul.ac.uk
