Scholarship Summary: 
Approximately seven exceptional first-year students (domestic and international) will be selected to receive this prestigious scholarship from the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation in partnership with Elizabethtown College. This exclusive program has been created to recognize students who exemplify leadership, perseverance, scholarship, service and innovation.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
There are no set criteria; all students admitted to Elizabethtown College will be considered for this scholarship. High academic achievers who exemplify leadership, perseverance, scholarship, service, and innovation will receive the strongest consideration. Candidates are encouraged to schedule an interview with the Office of Admissions.

Value of Scholarship: 
Stamps Scholars receive the following;
i. Full tuition cost; this award is renewable for all eight semesters the scholar is on campus.
ii. One –time $6,000 enrichment fund which can be used for study abroad, internship support, community/civic engagement opportunities and other qualified educational activities.
iii. Mentorship: Stamps Scholars are mentored by the Elizabethtown College Stamps Scholars Program Director as well as a designated Faculty Guide, a faculty member at Etown who works closely with each cohort of scholars throughout their college experience.
iv. Honors Program: Stamps Scholars are automatically admitted to the Elizabethtown College Honors Program. This gives scholars access to Honors housing, course offerings, and programming.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
The Application process is as follows;
i. Submit a completed to Elizabethtown College by the above deadline; no separate application is required to be considered for the Stamps Scholarship. 
  • An Admissions interview is strongly recommended, but no additional interview is necessary.
ii. February – Approximately 20 semi-finalists will be invited for interviews with Elizabethtown Stamps Scholars Program Director and affiliated faculty.
iii. March 1 – Approximately 10 finalists will be invited for a final Stamps Scholarship interview. 
  • If you have not been contacted by March 1, you are no longer being considered for the Stamps Scholarship.
iv. April 1 – Winners of the Stamps Scholarship will be notified by the Elizabethtown Stamps Scholars Program Director.
v. May 1 - Deadline to accept the Stamps Scholarship
