University of Providence awards the Leadership Scholarship to outstanding freshmen students (US citizens and residents only) with demonstrated leadership capacity.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a high school GPA higher than 3.0
ii. Be accepted for admission to the University of Providence
iii. Demonstrate involvement in clubs, activities, or service outside of academics

Value of Scholarship:
The Competitive Leadership Scholarships are namely as follows;
1. Spirit of Service Leadership Scholarship: $10,000 annually
2. Sister Mary Loretta Gately Scholarship for Church Leadership: $10,000 annually
Full-time enrollment, participation in campus activities, on-campus residency and satisfactory academic progress are required to maintain the award through graduation
