Applications for this scholarship will end as follows;

i. Full Trustee Scholarship: 5th of February, 2024 (CLOSED)

ii. All other scholarships: Rolling basis

Scholarship Summary: 

Undergraduate scholarships are automatically awarded to freshmen students (domestic and international) on the basis of academic excellence, special talents and financial need.  Awards are given on a first come, first served basis. Institutional scholarships require full-time, main campus enrollment, unless otherwise noted, and are only awarded for the fall and spring semesters.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

To be eligible for Freshmen Merit scholarships, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 2.5+
ii. Earn a minimum ACT score of 18+

Value of Scholarship: 

The MBU Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;

i. Full Trustee* - Full Tuition {Required: 3.6 GPA and 30+ ACT}

ii. Trustee - $20,000 {Required: 3.5 GPA and 27 ACT}

iii. President’s - $18,000 {Required: 3.4 GPA and 23 ACT}

IV. Dean’s - $15,000 {Required: 3.0 GPA and 20 ACT}

V. Faculty - $13,000 {Required: 2.5 GPA and 18 ACT}

*This scholarship is awarded by interview only.

All amounts are annual and renewable provided that students maintain a 2.0 GPA. 

Scholarship Application Guide: 

To apply,
i. Complete a freshman application to MBU; there is no separate scholarship application.

ii. Selected students will be invited to interview for the Trustee Scholarship.
