Scholarship Summary:
West Liberty University awards high-performing incoming freshman (domestic and international) several academic merit scholarships.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum SAT score of 1100+ or an ACT score of 22+
ii. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.50+ (out of 4.00)
Value of Scholarship:
The Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Elbin Scholarship: In-state – $4,000/yr | Out-of-state - $12,000/yr (Minimum: 3.75 GPA and 27+ ACT/1290+ SAT)
ii. Presidential Scholarship: In-state – $3,000/yr | Out-of-state – $7,500/yr (Minimum 3.75 GPA and 24-26 ACT/1160-1280 SAT)
iii. Foundation Scholarship: $2,000/yr (Minimum 3.75 GPA and 22-23 ACT/1100-1150 SAT)
iv. Black & Gold Scholarship: $1,000/yr (Minimum 3.5 GPA and 22+ ACT/1160-1100+ SAT)
