Scholarship Summary:
Montevallo Ambassador Program Scholarship (M.A.P.S.) awards comprise the University’s most prestigious scholarship programme for domestic students (US citizens and residents) and are awarded based on the student’s super-scored ACT or SAT and high school GPA.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for this scholarship, you must have;
i. a minimum composite ACT score of 30 (or SAT score of 1360)
ii. a minimum 3.5 high school GPA
Value of Scholarship:
Twelve M.A.P.S. awards are given annually and cover the entire cost of room, board, tuition and fees. This scholarship is renewable with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA at UM along with maintaining full time status (12 hours/semester).
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Along with the test scores and high school grades, applicants should submit a resume, two letters of recommendation and a completed admission application form.
ii. Scholarships will be then awarded based upon interviews granted to a select group of applicants.
