St. Lawrence University is pleased to announce a new scholarship program designed to identify and recognize talented Canadian students who wish to study in the United States. The competitive Canadian Scholars Program seeks students who have excelled academically and demonstrated leadership in some compelling way in their communities. This leadership may be school-related, service-related, or any other avenue in which the student has invested substantive time.

The Board of Governor’s scholarship is considered one of the University of Guelph's most prestigious entrance scholarships, with only 25 awards being awarded each year to incoming Canadian undergraduates. Recipients of this scholarship are entering their program with one of the highest admission averages of that cohort.

All full-time graduate students in thesis, course-based, practicum-based or project-based programs are eligible to apply, with the exception of students in the Theology and Joint Master’s Programs.

The President’s Distinguished Graduate Student Scholarship is designed to assist graduate students with the direct costs of their education and is based on student academic achievement and research potential. This scholarship will be awarded to current and incoming students in University of Winnipeg graduate programs. All full-time graduate students in thesis, course-based, practicum-based, or project-based programs are eligible to apply, with the exception of Theology and Joint Masters Programs, regardless of citizenship.

There is only one application that needs to be completed to be considered for all other awards available to students entering the first year of studies directly from high school.
