Scholarship Summary:
The University of York is offering the Global Impact Scholarship to support international undergraduate and postgraduate students to help them excel.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
A. To be eligible for an International Undergraduate Global Impact Scholarship, you must:
- be an undergraduate student from China, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Türkiye and USA.
- have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by the stated deadline
- be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by the stated deadline)
- intend to study a full-time undergraduate course.
B. To be eligible for an International Masters Global Impact Scholarship, you must:
- be a postgraduate student from USA, Canada, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Türkiye, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Egypt.
- have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by the stated deadline
- be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by the stated deadline)
- intend to study a full-time postgraduate course.
Value of Scholarship:
The International Global Impact Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. Undergraduates: £5,000 tuition fee discount for every year of study
ii. Postgraduates: £5,000-£8,000 tuition fee discount for the first year of study only
Scholarship Application Guide:
All undergraduate and postgraduate taught students holding an offer at York will be automatically considered. There is no need to formally apply for the scholarship.
