Scholarship Summary:
Loughborough University is delighted to present the Global Impact Scholarship to eligible international students. This scholarship is from 50% up to 100% off the course fees for your chosen postgraduate taught course for 1 year.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
i. Currently holding an offer (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible postgraduate taught programme
ii. Currently domiciled (permanently living) in country listed in the scholarship link below.
iii. Evidence of exceptional academic achievement (normally a first-class honours degree)
iv. Commitment to return to their home country on completion of their postgraduate programme
v. Evidence of the ability and commitment to making a significant contribution to their home country on their return
vi. Full understanding of the costs involved in coming to study and live in the UK
vii. Evidence of strong motivation and initiative to secure funds to cover the remainder of the costs involved
viii. Applicants should be high calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership and driving sustainable change within communities.
Value of Scholarship:
The scholarship will cover from 50% up to 100% off the course fees for your chosen postgraduate taught course (replacing any departmental or other Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries you may already have been awarded).
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Students may only apply for the scholarship after an offer for a place in one of Loughborough University’s Masters programmes has been made. Students who are in possession of an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a postgraduate taught course can apply for the scholarship using the application form.
ii. Applications will be initially shortlisted and the final decision on the awards will be made by a selection panel of senior staff of the University.
iii. Applicants are advised to spend considerable effort ensuring that this application reaches the selectors in a form that is clear, well presented and which reflects their abilities and motivation.
