Whitworth offers generous scholarships every year, based on students' (domestic and international) academic achievement, personal background and other factors. These scholarships are offered after a holistic review of your admissions application and are renewable up to four years as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for merit scholarship at Whitworth, applicants must;
i. Be first-time freshmen students
ii. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
Value of Scholarship:
The Whitworth Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. 3.9 GPA and above (SAT 1360+, ACT 31+, IB 37): $9,000 per year
ii. 3.6-3.89 GPA (SAT 1230-1350, ACT 26-29, IB 34-36): $6,000 per year
iii. 3.3-3.59 GPA (SAT 1130-1220, ACT 23-25, IB 30-33): $3,000 per year
All scholarships are renewable for up to four years for students making satisfactory academic progress.
