LSUS offers a Guaranteed Academic Scholarship program administered through the Office of Scholarships for full-time domestic students pursuing their first undergraduate degree.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for an LSUS academic scholarship, you must;
i. Be a US citizen or permanent resident
ii. Be accepted to LSUS
iii. Have a minimum high school 2.5 GPA and 20 ACT
Value of Scholarship:
The LSUS Guaranteed Academic Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. Purple & Gold: $2,000/year (2.5 GPA & 20-21 ACT)
ii. Shreveport: $3,000/year (3.0 GPA & 22-25 ACT)
iii. Red River: $3,600/year (3.0 GPA & 26-29 ACT)
iv. Louisiana: Tuition & Fees + $1,200 Campus Housing Credit/year (3.5 GPA & 30-36 ACT)
In addition to LSUS Freshmen Guaranteed Academic Scholarships, out-of-state students may also qualify for an Out-of-State Fee Waiver.
