The Bond University Leadership Scholarships aim to recognise current Year 12 students (Australia, New Zealand and International) who have outstanding leadership experience and community involvement with a partial-fee tuition remission scholarship.
Leadership Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate high academic achievement, as well as outstanding leadership skills and community achievements.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, OR an Australian permanent resident currently completing Year 12 (or equivalent) inside or outside of Australia OR An Australian OR an Australian permanent resident completing high school outside Australia OR International students completing Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia.
• Achieve a minimum of ATAR 84.00 or IB Diploma 30.
• Hold outstanding leadership, community and extra-curricular achievements, both at school and within the community.
- You will be asked to provide evidence of all achievements as supporting documents in your scholarship application.
• Meet the standard entry requirements for your chosen program of study.
Value of Scholarship:
As a Leadership Scholar, you will be awarded with 25% tuition remission for any single or approved combined undergraduate degree (excluding the Bond Medical Program), and can commence at Bond in either the January, May or September semester.

1. Complete the Bond University Study Application Form to lodge your application for your chosen program.

As Leadership Scholarship applicant, you will be required to submit the following documents as part of your scholarship application:
• Evidence of your leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community. It is a COMPULSORY component of your application to use the Summary of Achievements template to present this evidence and upload as one Word or PDF document.
• Completion of the Bond University Leadership Scholarship Supporting Document. This should be uploaded as a supporting document to the scholarship application form and all leadership achievements/experience must be supported through evidence (e.g. references, certificates, photos).
• Academic responses to two questions. Your responses should be entered into your scholarship application where prompted. We suggest drafting your responses in a Word document first and then copying and pasting them into the relevant fields in your application:
- Feedback plays a critical role in personal development, shaping how individuals understand their progress and adjust their strategies in the classroom, on the sporting field/pool, and in the performing arts auditorium. Describe a time when feedback affected your motivation (either positively or negatively). Analyse why that feedback had the effect it did. How did you respond, or, in hindsight, how should you have responded?
Write a 250 word response using first-person language. Do not include research, quotes or referencing and do not use generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
- Different people in a group can have different ideas about what they are trying to achieve. Think about a group project you participated in where not everyone shared the same priorities (for example, getting good marks, finishing quickly, or learning new skills). Explain what factors led to the success or failure of the group project.
Write a 250 word response using first-person language. Do not include research, quotes or referencing and do not use generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
- A school reference. As part of your application, you will be asked to provide your career advisor's details, so please have these on hand. Bond will follow-up with them directly to request a reference.
You must complete and submit your scholarship application before the application closing date as no late scholarship applications will be considered!
