The Literature and Languages Undergraduate Scholarship is open to UK offer-holders for first year entry Bachelor degree courses in the School of Literature and Languages at the University of Surrey.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must;
i. Be a UK student, with home fee status
ii. Be starting in September 2026
iii. Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors/integrated master’s degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in the following subjects;
iii. Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors/integrated master’s degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in the following subjects;
OR
iv. Have made their course application through UCAS by 14 January 2026.
Value of Scholarship:
The Surrey Literature and Languages Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded as a £1,000 accommodation fee waiver in the first year of study only.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. You must have an offer from the University to complete the scholarship application form.
- Applications without a valid student ID/UCAS ID and offer will not be assessed. You must have made your course application through UCAS by 14 January 2026.
ii. Eligible applicants must complete the appropriate scholarship application form by the deadline;

- Languages Scholarship will be awarded to offer holders who make Surrey their firm choice university by 3 June 2026.
