Scholarship Summary:
In an effort to make a private liberal-arts university education accessible to Ohio students of all backgrounds, Wittenberg University has launched the Tiger Opportunity Grant Program. The Tiger Opportunity Grant is designed to assist students whose families demonstrate the highest levels of financial need and are within the eligibility criteria for the Ohio College Opportunity Grant as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, students must;
i. Be entering Wittenberg as first-time undergraduate students in Fall 2024,
ii. Graduate from an Ohio high school, and
iii. Be eligible to receive the Ohio College Opportunity Grant as an Ohio resident based on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Value of Scholarship:
Ohio high school graduates who are eligible to receive the Ohio College Opportunity Grant are now eligible to also receive the Wittenberg Tiger Opportunity Grant, which will cover the cost of tuition for first-time-in-college students through a combination of institutional, state, and federal financial aid.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application needed to be considered for the Tiger Opportunity Grant Program; simply complete an application for admission into Wittenberg.
