Scholarship Summary: 

University of New Mexico is awarding the prestigious Regents' Scholarship to several exceptional domestic freshmen students. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.90 (out of 4.0) 
ii. Obtain a GED Scaled score of 175 or higher

Renewal Policy
Freshmen Regents Scholars:
Complete 15 new credit hours with a 3.3 GPA each semester (fall and spring semesters) AND live in the Scholars Wing in Hokona Hall.

Sophomore And Above:
Complete 15 new credit hours with a 3.3 GPA each semester (fall and spring semesters).
 

Value of Scholarship: 

The UNM Regents Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. New Mexico residents: approximately $15,500 per year — covers base tuition, fees, and housing. 
ii. New Mexico non-residents: approximately $24,000 per year — covers base tuition, fees, and housing. 

The Regent’s scholarship is renewable for 4 years.
