Hope College is delighted to reward students (US citizens and residents) for high school achievement, both in the classroom and on the stage.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.4+ OR
ii. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.2+ and 22+ ACT, 1100+ SAT or 72+ CLT
Academic scholarships will also be by course selection (i.e. dependent on what’s available at your high school).
Value of Scholarship:
The Hope Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Anchor Award - $8,000/year {3.2+ GPA and 22+ ACT/ 1100+ SAT/ 72+ CLT OR 3.4+ GPA only}
ii. Alumni Honors Scholarship - $10,000/year {3.4+ GPA with 24+ ACT/ 1160+ SAT/ 76+ CLT OR 3.6+ GPA only}
iii. Distinguished Scholar Award - $12,000/year {3.6+ GPA with 26+ ACT/ 1230+ SAT/ 81+ CLT OR 3.8+ GPA only}
iv. Presidential Scholarship Award - $14,000/year {3.8+ GPA with 28+ ACT/ 1300+ SAT/ 86+ CLT OR 3.95+ GPA only}
v. Trustee Scholarship - $22,000/year {3.95+ GPA with 34+ ACT/ 1490+ SAT/ 103+ CLT}
