Scholarship Summary:
The University of Louisville is delighted to award approximately 140 Henry Vogt Scholarships and a number of Trustee Competitive Scholarships to Kentucky and Southern Indiana freshmen students who meet the minimum criteria.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
• Have a 31 ACT/1390 SAT and a 3.5 GPA
• Students who apply to UofL without test scores will be evaluated, and eligible students will have the opportunity to apply for this award in the UofL ApplicatION Gateway once this evaluation is complete.
The consideration for these awards is primarily based on a student-involvement resume, as well as a student's grades and high school curriculum. The involvement resume should include but is not limited to
o honors and awards
o service
o extra-curricular activities
o work experience
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Louisville Trustee Competitive Awards are valued as follows;
i. Trustees' Competitive Scholarship: $1,000 - $7,000 annually
ii. Henry Vogt Scholarship: $16,000 annually
Applicants not receiving the $16,000 Vogt Scholarship will be eligible for $1,000-$7,000 awards, which can be stacked on Admission-Based Scholarships.

1. Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must submit an application admission to the University of Louisville by December 15.
2. Students who are eligible to apply for this scholarship will find their next steps in their UofL Application Gateway soon after they apply to UofL (whether they applied to UofL with or without test scores).
