Applications for this scholarship will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Scholarship Summary:
All academic scholarships and awards are based on the student’s (domestic and international) cumulative grade point average, a personal essay, and an educator’s reference. Standardized test scores are not required for scholarship eligibility, but will be considered if submitted.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 2.90
Value of Scholarship:
The Luther Academic scholarships are valued as follows;
1. Achievement Award: $18,000 (2.90 - 3.09 GPA)
2. Martin Luther Award: $23,000 (3.10 - 3.44 GPA)
3. Dean's Scholarship: $25,000 (3.45 - 3.69 GPA)
4. President's Scholarship: $27,000 (3.70 - 3.94 GPA)
5. Founders Scholarship: $28,000 (3.95+ GPA)
All above awards are renewable for each of the student's four years at Luther College.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate application for these awards; scholarships are awarded automatically to eligible students upon admission.
