Value of Scholarship:
UND covers 100% of an applicant's demonstrated financial need —covering the gap between the cost of attendance and what your family can reasonably contribute. The financial package includes University Scholarships, Federal Pell, and Supplemental Grants.
For example, applicants with annual household incomes of less than $40,000 pay an estimate of only $1,200 annually.

For Need-Based Aid
1. Applicants interested in applying for Notre Dame need-based financial aid must complete the following applications by February 1;
- 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) - School Code: 001840 (Available October 1)
- 2026-27 CSS Profile (for the custodial parent and, if applicable, the noncustodial parent) - School Code: 1841 (Available October 1)
- Required documents are requested and submitted once your CSS Profile is submitted through the College Board's Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC)
Requested documents include:
- 2024 federal income tax return (with all schedules, W-2s, and 1099s)
- Verification Worksheet
- 2024 federal business tax return(s) (if applicable)
- Partnership with K1(s)
