Stevens awards several merit scholarships every year to its most outstanding freshman students (US citizens and residents only). You are automatically considered for Stevens merit scholarships when you are admitted.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To receive a Stevens merit scholarship, you must:
i. Be an admitted, degree-seeking first-time student at Stevens Institute of Technology.
ii. Be enrolled in a degree program and attending courses full time.
iii. Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress and specific merit scholarship renewal requirements (if applicable) in order to renew your scholarship if you are a returning student.
Value of Scholarship:
The SIT Domestic Freshmen Scholarships scholarships range between $2,000 - full tuition and are namely as follows;
i. Edwin A. Stevens Scholarship
ii. Martha Bayard Stevens Scholarship {open to female students only}
iii. Presidential Scholarship
iv. A. James Clark Scholarship {invitation-only program that requires candidates to file both the FAFSA and CSS profiles before the deadlines each year}
v. Castle Point Grant {requires candidates to file both the FAFSA and CSS profiles before the deadlines each year}
vi. Global Impact Scholarship {requires candidates to submit their CSS profiles}
Scholarships may not exceed the cost of tuition. If you receive a Stevens merit scholarship, it may be renewed every year, for a total of eight full-time undergraduate semesters, as long as you meet all of the renewal requirements.
