Scholarship Summary:
For new full-time international students starting undergraduate taught degree course in September 2024, the University of Brighton has international scholarships available. Only students holding an offer to start their course in September are eligible to apply.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship,
i. You must be a new, international fee-status student
ii. You must be holding an offer for a full-time undergraduate course with a minimum course duration of one year
iii. You must be starting your course in September 2024.
Value of Scholarship:
Scholarships will be awarded at £2,500, £1,500 and £1,000 levels and those applications assessed as best meeting the criteria will be awarded the higher amount. These scholarships are awarded as a reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study.

To apply;
i. Click on the ‘Submit an application’ tab in this link here and fill the form.
- You will need your 8-digit student number, which can be found in Student View
under ‘your student record’.
ii. International scholarships will be awarded based on your answer to the following questions:
- What are your career ambitions?
- Why have you chosen this career path?
iii. Decisions about scholarship awards will be made by an awards committee and the International Office. Applications that are not fully completed will not be reviewed by the panel. Only one scholarship application per student will be considered for 2024 entry.
- Applications that have used AI to generate statements will be rejected.
