Scholarship Summary:
Around a third of the University’s UK undergraduates will be awarded the Liverpool Bursary upon entry to the University of Liverpool, which can be received either as a cash bursary or taken as a fee waiver.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be residents of the UK and be admitted for an undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool.
ii. Have an annual household income of not more than £35,000
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Liverpool Undergraduate Bursary is valued as follows;
i. For students from household incomes less than £25,000: £2,000 for each year of study
ii. For students from household incomes between £25,001 - £35,000: £750 for each year of study
In addition, if you are entitled to the Liverpool Bursary, at either the higher or lower level, and will be living in University accommodation, you will also receive an accommodation discount. For entry 2024, this is 15% off your first year University halls fees.

You do not need to apply for this Bursary; by submitting an online application for government grants or loans, you consent to share your information with the University. This allows the Student Fees team to assess your eligibility. You will be notified if you are eligible to receive this Bursary.
