Scholarship Summary:
The Exeter Better World Scholarships are awarded by the MBA Programme Director to students (UK and international) who can demonstrate outstanding academic merit or financial need and a commitment to the ethos of the programme. Please note these scholarships are awarded entirely at the discretion of the Business School.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for the Better Exeter World Scholarship, you must meet the eligibility criteria for the Exeter MBA which include;
- a minimum of three years' post-graduation work experience - preferably in a managerial position
- a good first degree
- career progression
Although GMAT is not required, Exeter particularly welcomes applicants in possession of a GMAT score which can be submitted along with your application, as your GMAT score may strengthen your application.
International students must in addition, show proficiency in the English language and have an appropriate qualification:
• Certificate of Proficiency in English of the Cambridge Local Examinations Grade B or above
• IELTS 7.0 (with no less than 6.0 in any sector)
• TOEFL 250
• iBT TOEFL 100+
Value of Scholarship:
The MBA Better World Scholarship ranges in value from £4,000-£12,000 for one year only.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply for an MBA Better World scholarship,
i. You need to apply for the Exeter full-time MBA and be offered admission; if you are a suitable candidate, you will be invited to apply for a scholarship
ii. If invited, you will need to prepare and submit a video of yourself talking to camera, in which you address some key factors that support your application:-
- why you believe that you deserve a scholarship;
- what you will bring to the programme that will benefit others in the cohort;
- why responsible leadership is of particular interest to you; and
- how you’d plan to be an ambassador for the Exeter MBA programme after graduation.
