Scholarship Summary: 
Business Merit Awards recognize CMU students (Canadian and International) who are business-minded and who desire to enter a business program at CMU. Each year, up to 3 Business Merit Awards are awarded to students entering CMU. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
Eligibility for consideration includes;
•  Completing a high school diploma or is transferring from another post-secondary. (If transferring, the award would be prorated to begin at 2nd or 3rd year whatever is applicable to the credits transferred.)
Is accepted into the Redekop School of Businesswit h a CMU academic entrance average of 80% over three academic subjects including either Pre-Calculus Math 40S or Applied Math 40S (or equivalents), and English, with a minimum grade of 60% in each.
Plans to enroll in full-time studies at CMU (minimum 9 credit hours per semester).

Continuing Eligibility
GPA of 3.5
Enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester at CMU
Continued enrolment in a CMU business degree

Value of Scholarship: 
The CMU Business Merit Scholarship is valued as CAD$1,500 per year, up to four years.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
The following are required to be considered for the Business Merit Award:
1. A completed Redekop School of Business Intent Form, including a 250 word statement addressing what inspires and motivates you to pursue your chosen area of study. This must be completed through your application portal.
2. A nomination form submitted by someone who can recommend you to CMU's business school. This will be automatically sent to your nominator at the time of form completion.
3. Application forms and required materials must be submitted by February 28 to be eligible.
