Scholarship Summary:
JBU offers competitive scholarships to exceptional domestic and international freshmen students with excellent academic records. Students with qualifying GPAs and test scores will be formally invited to compete for one of our competitive scholarships. Students demonstrating significant leadership ability may also be invited.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA 3.9 GPA or a 29 ACT or 1330 SAT or 89 CLT
Note: Students who otherwise demonstrate significant leadership ability may also be invited. Only seniors in high school applying for the fall semester will be considered for an invitation to the Scholarship Competition.
Value of Scholarship:
The JBU Competitive Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholarship: $29,000 annually {4 scholarships available}
ii. Chancellor's Scholarship: $14,500 annually {Limited scholarships available}
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Complete an application for admission for undergraduate study at JBU by October 15 to be admitted by Nov 1.
ii. Automatic invitations to compete for Competitive Scholarships are extended to students who meet the academic requirements.
iii. Selected applicants must accept the invitation by the November 1st deadline.
iv. The JBU Scholarship competition will hold on November 13-14, 2023; if you are admitted and qualify to compete by the dates above, you will receive an invitation to the competition.
