Scholarship Summary:
Taylor University is awarding Freshman Merit scholarships to incoming undergraduates (domestic and international) who have outstanding academic records.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
For domestic students
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 without test scores
For international students
i. Be admitted into Taylor
ii. Demonstrate cultural diversity
Value of Scholarship:
The Taylor Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
For domestic students
i. Director’s Award: $10,000/year (3.29 GPA & below)
ii. Trustee Scholarship: $14,000/year (3.30–3.69 GPA)
iii. Faculty Scholarship: $16,000/year (3.70+ GPA)
iv. Dean’s Scholarship: $18,000/year (3.70+ GPA & [1270 SAT OR 27 ACT OR 85 CLT])
v. President’s Scholarship: $20,000/year (3.70+ GPA & [1430 SAT OR 32 ACT OR 98 CLT])
For international students
The Luis Palau International Scholarship is valued at up to $10,000/year
Each scholarship is renewable each year with a cumulative 3.0 Taylor GPA.
