Huron University awards one International Presidential Scholarships to an exceptional entering international student who meets certain criteria.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
• Demonstrate academic excellence with a mid-year average of 90% or higher on Huron’s grading scale.
• Have an exceptional record of extra-curricular and community involvement, as well as a demonstrated passion to positively contribute to global society.
Value of Scholarship:
The Huron International Presidential Scholarship covers Full Tuition & Ancillary Fees, for up to 4 years.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Step 1 - Application
Submit an to a Huron program for September entry before the above deadline.
ii. Step 2 – Complete the International Presidential Scholarship Application
Log in to your Huron Connect Portal, click on the “Scholarships” section and complete the International Presidential Scholarship Application Form.
Requirements Include:
- School Counsellor Letter of Recommendation
- Extracurricular Activities & Achievements
- Statement of Purpose* (max 1000 words)
*Guiding questions will be provided in the Scholarship Application.
iii. Step 3 - Interview
Short-listed candidates will be invited to take part in a video interview, as part of the Scholarship application assessment. You will receive an email with further details on this process, if you are short-listed.
iv. Step 4 - Awarding of Scholarship
The recipient of the International Presidential Scholarship will be notified in March 2026.
