Scholarship Summary:
International applicants who are passport holders of a Commonwealth nation and studying outside of Canada will be awarded Huron’s new Commonwealth Bursary.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be starting your undergraduate studies at Huron in September
ii. Be a citizen of a Commonwealth country, which are namely as follows;
- Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Cameroon, Cyprus, Dominica, Eswatini, Fiji, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, United Kingdom, Vanuatu, and Zambia.
Value of Scholarship:
The Huron Commonwealth Bursary includes;
- CAD$40,000 scholarship over four years (CAD$10,000 per year)
- CAD$1,000 to use toward an international academic experience in subsequent years
Scholarship Application Guide:
No supplemental application is required for this scholarship; you will automatically be assessed for the Commonwealth Bursary during the to any Huron program and any financial aid awarded will be stated on your Offer of Admission letter.
