Scholarship Summary:
Entrance scholarships are awarded to students graduating from a Canadian or international high school with outstanding academic averages. Three scholarship levels have been set, with the prerequisite average for each tier and corresponding scholarship amount determined on a yearly basis.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. have achieved a minimum high school average of 85% based on the best five academic courses from the approved list.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Manitoba Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Level 3: Hogg Centennial Entrance Scholarship: CAD$1,000 (average greater than or equal to 85%)
iI. Level 2: Guertin Centennial Entrance Scholarship: CAD$2,000 (average greater than or equal to 90%)
iII. Level 1: University of Manitoba Queen Elizabeth II Entrance Scholarship: CAD$3,000 (average greater than or equal to 95%)
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply, applicants must submit an undergraduate application for admissions by the scholarship deadline of March 1.
